The magic of Donald Ross lives at Southern Pines Golf Club. The natural terrain that reveals each hole inspires the traditionalist and rewards the imaginative shot maker. All ability levels are accommodated with the diverse course conditions. By matching the slopes of the putting surfaces with the challenging green speeds, the play of the greens demand pace as well as direction for the successful putt.

Southern Pines Golf Club (“SPGC”) is owned by the Elks Lodge and operated by Legacy Golf Management (“LGM”), a privately- owned golf course management company based out of Atlanta, Georgia. SPGC is an 18-hole facility located in Moore County, NC in the heart of Southern Pines and was designed by Donald Ross.

SPGC is a resort golf club that permits play from members, guest of members, resort guest and the general public. As a resort course, our play and corresponding rates are seasonal. Generally peak season is from mid-March to mid-May and from mid-September to the end of October. Especially during peak season, a significant portion of play is from golfers on a golf package. SPGC accepts advance reservations from various area golf packagers and lodging facilities.

The course is open all months of the year and seven days each week except for a few selected holidays and scheduled maintenance days.
